My wife and I order and eat at this Cooper's Hawk quite a lot. I would say in the last 3 years we've probably been to or order from here at least 25 times, probably more. We've stopped ordering and eating there though over the last ~4 months or so. The food, which is usually good, is more inconsistent than usual and the quality has gone down. She usually gets the chicken risotto or chicken ceasar, and I usually get the churassco steak, a burger, or a chicken sandwich. Over the past few months the consistency on the quality of the cook of the steak, the ingredients, and even with the burger seems to have changed. Sometimes there's little to no sear on the steak, sometimes it's cooked correctly. The risotto has been cooked well, or sometimes drastically undercooked. Also for my wife and I, we haven't felt particularly good after eating it anymore. Even on the last order we did we added a kids menu item of chicken tenders, which were so awful my son wouldn't eat it (for the first time), so my wife tried it and even she said they weren't like they usually are. I'm not sure what's changed, if the food source has changed or ancillary oils or cooking processes are altered or what. Some

The food was excellent from the appetizers to the dessert. We enjoyed the wine. The highlight of the evening was our server, Carrie. Her knowledge of the menu helped us select gourmet entrées. She also introduced us to new wines which we enjoyed and brought home 2 bottles. She is personable, knowledgeable, friendly with a great sense of humor. We will return and request Carrie as our server.

Loved everything about this place. If you haven't gone yet, definitely go. Great food, fantastic wine. Free wine samples so you pick exactly what you want. The service was phenomenal. The food was picturesque and it tasted even better.

A $50 disappointment. Terrible kitchen execution and bad customer service. I usually have decent expectations for Cooper's Hawk, but serving this dish for $50 is unacceptable. The meat was completely overcooked and dried out, lacking any juiciness, and parts of the edges were charred to a bitter crisp instead of being properly seared. The plating and presentation were an absolute mess —it looked like it was thrown together in a rush. What made the experience even worse was the service. I informed the waitress about the quality of the meat, and she didn’t care at all. She didn't even try to fix the situation—no offer to have the kitchen remake it, no manager involvement, and zero effort to offer a partial refund or compensation. When you are charging premium prices, you need to deliver premium service and quality control. This was a complete letdown.

Coppers Hawk Winery in New Lenox was surprisingly nice. I’ve heard good things about the establishment and decided to check them out! Upon arrival there was a wine bar for wine tasting along with the wine club membership. Pretty decor to match the winery scene. We was served about a fella named Nick. He was amazing. He was very professional and had great customer service. He made suggestions of his favorite foods and served our table gracefully. We order the chicken Madeira and The Prime. Both entrees were tasty and delicious. Not to mention lunch specials with entrees under $25 you just can’t beat that! Along with our entrees we order the a red wine called scarlet. Bubbly and half sweet and tart. It was really good considering red wine is really dry. Received a complimentary Crème brûlée. That’s was AMAZING! A nice touch for the birthday! For two people we spent $100! Entrees with wine along with great vibes and company you just can’t beat that! Check em out!
